Per the inspection report I assumed that you wanted the permit issued
prior to installing the sensor. If that is the case, and the permit has just been
faxed hoMarty, then we're beyond 30days already.
Should we have changed out the sensor while waiting for apermit, or once we
submit the permit application do we have permission to change out the sensor?
Just looking for asuggestion anhow bonot exceed the 30day requirement
while awaiting a permit.
| thought | had seen enadvisory from the SVVRCBasking that agencies allow
replacement of defective monitoring equipment immediately while permits were
being applied for aomaybe that was what you thought had happened.
Can you please let meknow how | can improve our process.
Thanks
Debbie Wafts
Service Station Systems,|no.
88OQuinn Ave
San Jose, CA 95112
4O8'S38'7113'Direct Line
4O8 -213 -8O13 - Direct Fax
4O8 -Q71 -2445 -Office
From: Michelle Henry [EH] [maUto:.com]
Sent: Friday, March 21, 2008 3:30prn
To: Debbie Watts; Steve A.8kmndenson
Cc: Gina L. A permit would still be required even
ifyou were only changing 1sensor. The permit has been approved and faxed
tnMarty VVeithmanbochange all 4STP sensors. | believe the 3Udays you are
referring to is to actually submit the Return to Compliance Certification with
documentation supporting how each violation has been corrected. Austated in
myoriginal inspection report the sensor needed bnbnchanged immediately
under permit through this office, not 3Odays. Unfortunately | can not grant on
extension tnsubmit the Return toCompliance certification. These documents
4/l6/2UO@
