Pagel of 2
6 9
Michelle Henry [EH]
From: Michelle Henry [EH]
Sent: Friday, March 21, 2008 3:30 PM
To: 'Debbie Watts; Steve A. Skanderson
Cc: Gina L. Pimentel
Subject: RE: Shell - 3725 Tracy Bd, Tracy -136186
Good Afternoon,
According to my inspection report and if memory serves me right only the 87 STP sump sensor failed during
the MC.
I just want to clarify, it seems in your first email that you are under the impression a permit is required due to the
fact you are changing all sensors and just not the failed one, which is incorrect. A permit would still be required
even if you were only changing 1 sensor. The permit has been approved and faxed to Marty Weithman to change
all 4 STP sensors. I believe the 30 days you are referring to is to actually submit the Return to Compliance
Certification with documentation supporting how each violation has been corrected. As stated in my original
inspection report the sensor needed to be changed immediately under permit through this office, not 30 days.
Unfortunately I can not grant an extension to submit the Return to Compliance certification. These documents
must be submitted immediately. I have attached my original inspection report for your review.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Michelle Henry, REHS
SJC Environmental Health Department
600 E.
