qO .r
1 415/657-1544
Quik Stop Market #124
505 N. Main
Manteca, Ca. 95336
The secondary containment of the underground fuel storage tanks is continuously
monitored by a Universal Sensors "Leak Alert" LA -06 electronic monitor using
liquid sensing probes set to immediate response time. The panel for this
system is located in the back room.
The electronic monitor will be tested daily by the store manager and the
results logged on the "Daily Monitoring System Inspection" sheet (sample
attached). In addition, the liquid sensing probes will be checked on an
annual basis by a qualified service company and the results forwarded to the
San Joaquin County Public Health Services. In case of an alarm situation, the
store manager will immediately contact the Quik Stop Gasoline Dept, which will
in turn dispatch a qualified service company to the site to determine the
cause of the alarm and to notify Quik Stop if clean-up is required.
The product delivery lines are monitored on a continuous basis by "Red Jacket"
inline leak detectors. Both the piping and the leak detectors are tested on
an annual basis with the results forwarded to the San Joaquin County Public
Health Services.
Persons allowed to authorize any required work are:
Quik Stop Markets, Inc.-- Safety Director: Jack Griffith
510-657-8500 (7 am - 4 pm Mon - Fri)
510-656-2143 (after hours - weekends - holidays)
District Manager: Roy Platted
916-987-8711 (7 am - 4 pm Mon - Fri)
916-852-1696 (after hours - weekends - holidays)
jg/jrm
