'eeder-Root • • Page 1 of 2
VEEDER-ROOT
Interstitial Sensor for Fiberglass Tanks
Our products offer the following features and benefits:
Veeder-Root's Interstitial Sensor for use in
Fiberglass Tanks detects the presence of liquid in
the interstitial space of a double-wall fiberglass
tank. Liquid in the annulus could mean a
dangerous leak. When liquid is detected, the
sensor sends an alarm signal to a TLS -350R, TLS -
350, TLS -3503, ILS -350, TLS -300i, TLS -300C,
TLS -250i, or ILS -250 monitor. The monitor's visual
and audible built-in alarm indicators immediately
tell you where the problem is, so you can quickly
take action to help prevent serious safety and environmental problems.
The Veeder-Root Interstitial Sensor for fiberglass tanks can be used in the
annulus of the fiberglass tank with a riser pipe of 4". Only two wires are
required to connect the sensor to a TLS or ILS system.
• Positive alarm indication of any liquid in double-wall fiberglass tanks
• System indicators pinpoint alarm location
• Fast action helps prevent serious safety and environmental problems.
Features
The presence of any liquid in the tank's interstitial space triggers a Fuel Alarm
Temperature Rating
Storage: -40 degrees C to +75 degrees C
Operating: -20 degrees C to +70 degrees C (hydrocarbons); 0 degrees C to 70
degrees C (non-freezing water)
Dimensions: 2.13" long, 1.27" wide, and 0.58" high
Standard Models
Form No. Description
794390-401
Sensor for 4", 5" Diameter Fiberglass Tank
794390-404
Sensor for 5"4" to 7" Diameter Fiberglass Tank
794390-407
Sensor for 7"6" to 9" Diameter Fiberglass Tank
794390-409
Sensor for 10" to 12" Diameter Fiberglass Tank
Interstitial Fiberglass Tank Sensor Console Capability
The Series 7943 Interstitial Fiberglass Tank Sensor is compatible with the
following consoles:
Console
Series
TLS -350R*
8482
TLS -350*
8470
TLS -3503
8470
ILS -350**
8450
TLS -300i
8485
TLS -300C
8485
TLS -250i
7941
ILS -250
7942
*An Interstitial Sensor Interface Module is required for use of the Interstitial
Fiberglass Tank Sensor with the TLS -350 console.
** A Two -Wire Module is required for use of the Interstitial Fiberglass Tank
Product Info
Features & Benefits
Manuals, Guides, &
Certifications
Ready to Buy
Distributor Search
ttp://www.veeder.com/dynamic/printable.cfin?pageID=100 6/27/2005
