If water could
enter into the secondary containment by precipitation or infiltration, it must be removed and disposed of properly.
The service technician removed all liquid from above sumps and placed it in the onsite hazardous waste container.
Ensure that all sumps and annular spaces are maintained free of liquid. This was corrected onsite.
This is a Class II violation.
318
CCR 2636(f)(2) Leak detector failed to detect a 3.0 gph leak at 10 psi.
The 89 VMI line leak detector failed to detect a leak when tested. All line leak detectors shall be capable of detecting
a 3 -gallon per hour leak at 10 psi. The service technician adjusted the leak detector, retested it, and it passed. This
was corrected on site.
This is a repeat violation, Class II.
319
CCR 2635(b) No spill bucket, failed to contain five gallons, or failed to provide a means to keep it empty.
The 89 and 91 spill containers failed when tested. All spill containers shall have a minimum capacity of five gallons
and be capable of containing a spill or overfill until it is detected or cleaned up. New fill caps were installed on both
spill containers and these spill containers were retested during the inspection with passing results. This was corrected
onsite.
This is a repeat violation, Class II.
Overall Inspection Comments:
Page 3of4
