Yosemite Ave <br />Manteca, CA 95336 <br />Dear Laurie: <br />In,response to the information you've requested in order <br />to,approve the pending permit at the Manteca site below <br />is a list of your questions & our response to them. Please <br />consider this also a "closure plan" as is required by your <br />county: <br />QUESTION <br />ANSWER <br />What test will be used <br />for <br />We will <br />perform 5 psi pneumatic <br />inner & outer walls of <br />tanks? <br />test as <br />per State specifications. <br />You stated 16 hours is <br />too <br />We will <br />perform dry -icing of tank <br />long for dry -icing of <br />tank? <br />2 to 4 <br />hours prior to removal. <br />You said don't plug all holes�We will reduce one bung on each <br />while venting tank(s) tank to an 1/8" venting hole. <br />What if contamination is found As per State specifications we <br />in backfill will spread,turn, & arreate soil <br />onsite.— <br />Sample of soil must be tested <br />Rinsing, transportation, & <br />disposal of tanks. <br />(CONTINUED) <br />Testing will be performed by <br />Applied Geo Systems, results <br />will be back next day. <br />To be picked up, transported, <br />properly cleaned & disposed <br />of by H&H Disposal (EPA Certified <br />Waste Disposal Hauler), also H&H <br />will send copy of certificate of <br />tank disposal compliance to both <br />Unocal Co. & San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health, <br />
