Il C 11 11 n 11 Li .1 0 J The X76 ETM System, a electronic continuous monitoring device, is designed to tighten inventory control of fuel stored in underground tanks. The X76 ETM System uses a probe and controller to measure fuel height, fuel temperature and water height. This system also provides information on fuel volume, time and date. Information acquired automatically provides faster shift changes by eliminating tank sticking and manual reporting; thereby, reducing errors, spot losses by theft, leaks or meter miscalibration and provides sound inventory practice. The X76 ETM System features an alphanumeric LCD which provides instant information for each tank, in- cluding fuel gallons and inches, fuel temperature, water level, time and date. Utilizing a LCD, output relays and a printer, the X76 ETM System provides alarm warnings and a variety of printed reports. By pressing the Print key and selecting choices 1 through 5, you can receive the fol- lowing reports: Current Inventory, Shift Report, a his- tory of the last 6 deliveries per tank, Last Alarm Report for each tank for High Water Level, High Product Level, Low Product Level, Theft Alarm, Auxiliary Contact Alarm and the Last Leak Detect results. These reports are described in Section 8.0 Reports. The X76 ETM System provides a leak warning func- tion through a static test when the tank is inactive. This leak test function must be programmed in order to be operational. The required programming includes m Function 75, the leak detect threshold and either Functions 85 or 86, for manual operations or Function 87 for automatic mode operation. The leak test is designed to invalidate individual test results if tank conditions are unstable, such as significant tempera- ture variations due to recent product additions. Once power -up and programming are complete, operation of the controller is automatic. During opera- tion, the Mode key should be positioned in the Run mode with the key removed and stored in a safe place. With the key in the Run mode, functions can be interrogated but no set-up data can be entered. Note: Information provided by the X76 ETM should be used as part of a conscientious inventory control program. If routine inventory reconciliation reveals a loss of product, use the leak detect feature to take a closer look. If loss of product is further identified by the Leak Detect mode, call for a precision test. Do not excavate tanks or take other remedial action based solely on the X76 ETM's inventory or leak detect reports. Call for an external precision test to confirm a suspected leak. Be sure the external precision test procedures meet all of the local and Na- tional EPA requirements.
