-Date May 13, 1998 <br /> EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br /> UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK MONITORING PROGRAM <br /> This monitoring program must be kept at the UST location at all times. The information on this monitoring program are <br /> conditions of the operating permit. The permit holder must notify County of San Joaquin O.E.S. within 30 days of any <br /> changes to the monitoring procedures,unless required to obtain approval before making the change.Required by Sections <br /> 2632(d)and 2641(h)CCR. <br /> Facility Name Ripon Shell <br /> Facility Address 341 E. Main Street, Riuon <br /> 1. If an unauthorized release occurs, how will the hazardous substance be cleaned up? <br /> Notes If released hazardous substances reach the environment, increase the fire or <br /> explosion hazard, are not cleaned up from the secondary containment within 8 <br /> hours, or deteriorate the secondary containment, then County of San Toaauin <br /> O.E.S. must be notified within 24 hours. For small spills the on site personnel will <br /> use absorbent material to clean up the released material. In the event of a larger spill <br /> the dealer will call 9-1-1 if necesgW, his/her Eauilon Representative and the Equilon <br /> SH&E Coordinator to assist in the emergency. <br /> 2. Describe the proposed methods and equipment to be used for removing and properly <br /> disposing of any hazardous substances. <br /> Spent absorbent will be placed into an approved container and disposed of in gggQrdance <br /> with all Local, State and Federal laws and regulations Any additional equipment will <br /> be provided be the responding contractor. <br /> 3. Describe the location and availability of the required cleanup equipment in item 2 above. <br /> Absorbent is maintained on site and restocked as needed Any additional equipment is <br /> maintained by the contractor, and available on an as needed basis. <br /> 4. Describe the maintenance schedule for the cleanup equipment. <br /> Absorbent is inspected weekly and reordered as needed. <br /> 5. List the name(s) and title(s) of the person(s) responsible for authorizing any work <br /> necessary under the response plan: <br /> Dave Posey / Station Dealer <br /> Aura Mattis / Equilon SafM, Health & Environmental Coordinator <br /> Alex Perez / Equilon Environmental Engineer <br /> Brett Hovland / Equilon District Engineer <br />
