The sturdy cast-iron body and lid, along with the fluorocarbon o -ring, <br />provide a tight seal when closed. Tank vent opens at 8 oz. pressure. As with the other emergency vents, the 8 -inch vent works <br />in conjunction with the pressure vacuum vents. The body and lid are constructed of cast <br />iron, and with the fluorocarbon "O" -Ring, provides a tight seal when closed. The tank <br />opens at 8 oz. pressure. The 2 -inch and 3 -inch have vent rates of 96 cubic feet per minute(5, 700 per <br />hour). This vent is set to activate under 8 oz. of pressure and .5 oz. vacuum, or to customer <br />specifications. It is easily installed to new or existing vent lines with a choice of either NPT <br />threads or an O-ring and locking screw for unthreaded applications. Dome shaped top <br />provides reliable run-off and eliminates trapped snow, rain, and ice. The top casting is dome shaped in the center to quickly drain off all <br />moisture including rain, snow, and ice.
