The permit <br />has been approved with the following conditions: <br />1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Muniappa Naidu at (209) 468-3439 to arrange the following inspection <br />appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be <br />aware that inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit <br />approval. <br />a. Existing piping removal and sampling. <br />b. Primary piping soap test: One hour pneumatic pressure test at 110% of operating <br />pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. <br />c. Secondary piping soap test: One hour pressure test per manufacturer's guidelines. If <br />there are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be performed using an applicable <br />method specified in an industry code or engineering standard. <br />d. 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on all under dispenser containment and <br />Turbine sump. <br />Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD <br />inspection and approval. <br />4. Since concrete will be broken near the UST, a secondary containment test must be <br />performed on the UST once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's <br />guidelines. <br />5. Secondary containment testing for the piping is required six months after installation. <br />Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this test is scheduled. <br />
