Bravo Systems <br />Entry Fittings and Entry Fitting Retrofits for Fiberglass Sumps: <br />F Series Retrofit -S Fittings. <br />File No. EQ -820 <br />Dear Mr. Nelson: <br />The Office of District and Business Support has concluded its review of the Equipment Approval <br />request dated November 19, 2013 that was submitted for S. Bravo Systems Entry Fittings and <br />Entry Fitting Retrofits for Fiberglass Sumps, Model F Series Retrofit -S Fittings, pursuant to <br />Rules 62-761.500(6), 62-761.500(7), 62-761.850(2), 62-762.501(2)(e), 62-762.501(2)(f), and <br />62-762.851(2), Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.). The Entry Fittings and Entry Fitting <br />Retrofits for Fiberglass Sumps, Model F Series Retrofit -S Fittings provide piping access through <br />fiberglass piping sumps and fiberglass dispenser liners associated with underground and <br />aboveground storage tanks. The penetration fitting provide liquid tight penetration through the <br />sump or liner. The material make up of the penetration fitting meet the technical requirements of <br />the Florida storage tank system rules. <br />Based on the information provided by S. Bravo Systems, Entry Fittings and Entry Fitting <br />Retrofits for Fiberglass Sumps, Model F Series Retrofit -S Fittings provide environmental <br />protection substantially equivalent to that provided by compliance with the requirements <br />established in to Rules 62-761.500(6), 62-761.500(7), 62-762.501(2)(e), and 62-762.501(2)(f), <br />F.A.C. The fittings may be used to provide piping access through piping sumps and dispenser <br />liners associated with underground and aboveground storage tanks. <br />Pursuant to Rules 62-761.850(2) and 62-762.851(2), F.A.C., the request for the use of the S. <br />Bravo Systems Entry Fittings and Entry Fitting Retrofits for Fiberglass Sumps, Model F Series <br />Retrofit -S Fittings is approved in the State of Florida as penetration fittings through piping <br />sumps and dispenser liners associated with underground and aboveground storage tanks. The <br />installation and operation of the penetration fittings shall be made in accordance with the <br />manufacturer's recommendations. <br />www. dep.statefl. us <br />
