Since the test results
indicate a leak rate of less than the allowed 0.05 gallons per hour, the system
is considered to be "tich " .
The test results should be presented to the local permitting agency as requested
or retained on-site as specified by your operating permit.
This office is in a three-year program to provide tank level monitoring
equipment (TLM) for existing single-walled tanks. Until the TLMs are installed,
each facility shall perform daily manual liquid level measurements and inventory
reconciliation during the interim. Since the Underground Storage Tank Program
is conducted under the jurisdiction of the local regulatory agency, requirements
may vary and communication with the local regulatory agency should be maintained
for information on their requirements.
Shouldou have any questions or require additional information, please call me
at (916 322-8249 or ATSS 492-8249.
Cody Begley
Senior Hazardous Material Specialist
Underground Storage Tank Program
CB:skf
Attachment
cc: Central Files
Facility Files
UGST Chron Revised 4/91
