C. Response to Leak Indications
Immediate action will be taken to check equipment and operations
and to precision test the underground tank and associated piping
should the TLS -250i indicate a leak has taken place or presence of
other indications that would indicate in all probability that the
tank or piping is leaking.
Any leakage from the underground tank or associated piping result-
ing in soil or ground water contamination will be reported to the
local Fire Department and San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department. Any remedial action required will be accomplished in
compliance with regulatory agency having jurisdiction.
D. Security Codg
The system is designed to prevent unauthorized use from outside
persons by the security code feature. Each site location will be
assigned a Security Code in place of the address code.
Performance specifications listed below represent values that
could be expected from a TLS -250i if a perfectly cylindrical,
calibrated (10 -foot diameter, 10,000 -gallon) tank were used.
Height of Fuel at location of DSP
Volume of Fuel
Leak Detection Mode
Fuel Temperature
Time
- 0.1 inch
- 15 gallons
- 0.2 gallon
- 1-1/2 degrees F
- Minutes/Week
The RS -232C Serial Interface Communications Port allows for the
site location to be queried for a system status report. This
report checks the system's operational status by transmitting the
data, time, whether the leak monitor is on, and whether the
inventory loss alarm has been activated.
