1 <br />Made -to -Order Double -Wall Tanks <br />Suggested Fitting Locations <br />Although our standard Double -Wall Tanks are designed to accommodate most storage <br />applications, they can be modified to include additional manways, tank -mounted fittings <br />or other Double -Wall Tank accessories. Made-to-order tanks require additional lead time <br />for production and are more expensive to purchase. <br />The standard tanks are shown with <br />tank -mounted fittings in the standard <br />positions. Monitoring fittings, reservoirs, <br />lift lug locations, and anchoring strap <br />locations can sometimes be relocated, <br />but require special approval prior to <br />any relocation. <br />In addition to the standard tank notes <br />• the following notes apply: <br />1. The location of additional and/or <br />modified tank accessories should <br />be referenced by the numbered <br />fitting position between the ribs. <br />2. The primary tank's standard pipe <br />fittings are 4" NPT half couplings. <br />All tanks require at least one manway. The manway cover should <br />include at least one fitting to facilitate future volumetric tank testing. <br />3. Specifying more or larger manways than available on standard tanks <br />may alter the anchoring strap locations. These can often be relocated, <br />but require special approval prior to any relocation. Larger manways also <br />require larger containment collars. <br />4. We recommend that all additional manway covers include at least <br />one fitting to facilitate future volumetric precision tank testing. <br />5. Tank bottom deflector plates are standard under every manway and fitting. <br />• 6. Monitoring fittings, reservoirs and lift lug locations can sometimes be <br />relocated, but require special approval prior to any relocation. <br />
