NPTTank-Mounted Fittings <br />Plate Gusseted Nozzles <br />0 00 <br />0 0 <br />0 0 <br />0 0 <br />0 0 <br />0 <br />Fiberglass Manways <br />0 0 • <br />• <br />These fittings let you configure our tanks to your needs. <br />Tank Fittings <br />NPT Tank -Mounted Fittings <br />The standard tank -mounted fitting is 4" NPT half coupling. The tank -mounted <br />fittings to the primary tank are placed on the top center line of the tank. <br />Plate Gusseted Nozzles <br />Fiberglass plate gusseted nozzles are available in 2", 3", 4", 6", 8", 10", 12", <br />14", 16" and 18" diameters and are installed on the top center line of the tank. <br />Fiberglass Manways <br />Standard fiberglass manways are 22" diameter. Optional 30" and 36" manways <br />are available. <br />The standard 22" manway has a maximum load-bearing capacity of <br />2,400 lbs. Each comes with a painted carbon steel cover, a gasket, <br />24 zinc -coated 1/2" x 1-1/2" bolts and nuts. Fittings in manway lids are <br />4" steel NPT half couplings. <br />Warning: an underground tank constitutes a confined space. Never enter a <br />tank without proper training and OSHA -approved equipment. <br />ASPHYXIATION EXPLOSION FIRE <br />NOTE: the use of manways is not intended to <br />encourage tank entry, which can pose a safety <br />hazard for unqualified mechanics, especially <br />after product has been stored in the tank. <br />All fiberglass Double -Wall Tanks include one manway. Some of the primary tank <br />fittings are clustered in the manway cover to facilitate secondary containment of <br />the pump and piping. <br />Stainless Steel Bolt Rings <br />Fluid Containment can provide a Stainless Steel Bolt Ring for use with fiberglass <br />manways and sealed turbine enclosures on double wall tanks. The Bolt Ring is <br />manufactured in two halves and provides a flexible semi -circle of bolts that will <br />stay in position in a flange and allow the nuts to be tightened without the use of <br />a wrench to keep the bolt from turning. <br />Stainless Steel Bolt Ring <br />The Bolt Ring is manufactured of 304 or 316 stainless steel with non -galling <br />silicone bronze nuts, providing improved corrosion resistance over plated bolts, <br />nuts and washers. <br />• <br />• <br />
