Husky Rectnnectable SlfemTmBreak TM
Has Unique "Shock Absorber"
New breakaway valve
absorbs typical line
shocks to reduce
unwanted separations.
Husky introduces the model 3360--
a new Safe-T-BreakTm valve that
withstands typical line shock with a
unique "shock absorber" design.
The unit features an unusual
interface between a pre -loaded
spring and a single turn wave spring
that enables the valve to resist
sudden pressure build-up in the
hose—a common cause of nuisance
breaks.
This unique design feature allows
the model 3360 to be U.L. Listed to
separate at less than 200 lbs. pull
force. With this shock -absorber
Pi
design, the less -than -200 lbs. pull
force is high enough to resist the
most common causes of nuisance
breaks, yet low enough so that --in
actual driveaways--the "backlash"
force of the broken connection
dissipates quickly and minimial
damage occurs to dispensing
equipment. The higher the "pull
force", the more likely severe
internal and external damage will
occur to equipment.
In addition, the model 3360 is Listed
as reconnectable, and after
separating the reconnected valve
retains its Listing. Reconnecting
the Safe -T -Break does not require
new or reconditioned parts or
repair kit.
The Husky 3360 successfully
passed the demanding U.L. test
UL
" t 7-
0
Lq
Actual size
requiring 1,000 breakaways without
the unit leaking or failing between
breakaways. This new unit
represents another engineering
achievement in the long line of
Husky Safe -T -Break valves.
BSP Threaded inlets also available.
HUSKY CORPORATION
1 + Dailey Industrial Park P.O.
