tHE RLD. AXPERIENCE'qN Ac-rIDN In 1976, Red Jacket introduced the two-sec- ond leak detector, the first to make a complete line test in only two seconds. Because of the growth of self-service, increasing fuel cost, and environmental concerns, the industry demanded such a product. Red Jacket responded. We've done so again. Red Jacket has developed the PLD, a new piston leak detector with a rugged approach de- signed for efficient operation in extreme tem- perature conditions. The PLD fits into the same space as the present leak detector and will detect a leak rate of approximately 3 GPH downstream of the leak detector. (3 GPH at 10 P.S.I. as prescribed by the E.P.A.). It will handle standard motor fuels and it compensates for product (thermal) con- traction. The PLD is easily installed in Red Jacket submersibles or with competitive models. A tamper -proof feature is provided to prevent un- authorized alteration or removal. Once again, Red Jacket is applying its 30 years of experience in this technology.
