U L / U LC Listed System Smith Fiberglass Products offers complete Underwriters Laboratories and Underwriters' Laboratories of Canada (UL/ULC) Listed systems of product and containment piping. RED THREAD ll fiberglass product piping in 2", 3" and 4" diameters and 3" and 4" containment piping carry the UL/ULC label for conveying petroleum products underground. UL/ULC Listed 3" and 4" contain- ment onnment piping fits over 2" and 3" product ULC lines. Special two-piece Listed fittings complete the outer pro- tective shell. The result is a pressure testable containment system which can be continuously monitored. Exceptional Corrosion Resistance UL/ULC Labeled (listed) RED THREAD II pipe resists corrosion from petroleum products such as diesel fuel, gasoline, kerosene, jet fuel, and fuel oil. Manufactured from tested and proven epoxy -reinforced fiberglass materials, RED THREAD II pipe resists internal and external corrosion caused by soils and by corrosive fluids typically found in service station applications. Smith Fiberglass Products testing shows that RED THREAD II pipingcan also be used for conveying gasohol in any alcohol blend, including 100% ethanol and 100% methanol.
