Item#19. Quik Stop's fuel carrier has again been cautioned against <br /> defeating the overfill valve when making a fuel drop. Although the <br /> flapper valve(float arm)does not allow a legal manual override,it is <br /> easily defeated. The carrier is aware that continued overfills can result in <br /> loss of our business,or worse,legal action. <br /> 2. Item#23c. A meeting was held in the Quik Stop Corporate Office on <br /> December 9d'with Walton Engineering representatives Dulcinea and <br /> Jeffrey Covan. Walton Engineering is Quik Stop's Designated Operator. <br /> A number of items were discussed, including the requirement of the DO to <br /> review alarm history, verify that all alarms are noted,properly responded <br /> to, and recorded. Walton's representatives promised to be more vigilant. <br /> Quik Stop's Franchisees and Store Managers have also been reminded to <br /> record all alarms on their Daily Monitoring System Inspection Log before <br /> calling the office for Maintenance Dispatch. <br /> 3. The signed Return to Compliance Certification is attached. <br />
