A water sample was collected for analYses by EPA Method 8260 (volatile <br /> organics by GC/MS), and Total Petroleum HYdrOcarbOrks CIPH). The EPA Method <br /> 8260 analysis showed benzene, toluene, xylene, and ethylbenzene (EITXE) were <br /> Present in the samPle in concentrations of I ug/L or less,except toluene at 3.0 ug/L, <br /> The TPH analysis showed 2 mg/L TPH, described as " ea iesel fuel,'. <br /> Diesel fuel to system 879-DlUl manains buried and in-use at a location next to the <br /> excavation tO remove gasoline Lanka 879-GIUI and 879-G2Ul. 879-DiTil is a doubly- <br /> contained sYstem installed in 1987.
