Though the annular sensor is still operating properly,
the contractor recommends replacement. LLNL requests this permit amendment to allow annular sensor replacement
and testing to be done along with the other testing required by the spill bucket modification (EVR upgrade) project.
John Sutfin is licensed contractor and an ICC certified installer, but does not have Veeder-Root certification. However,
he will provide an installer/tester(Central Petroleum Services)who is Veeder-Root certified. The replacement annular
sensor is a Veeder-Root model 420, serial #468439.
Per our March 14 phone conversation, this written request will be provided to you in person during your inspection on
March 15.
If you have any questions regarding the proposed annular sensor replacement and testing, please contact me at 925-
423-7665.
Sincerely,
Shari Brigdon
3/21/2005
