The Contractor shall provide the <br /> University with a certificate stating that the <br /> tanks were cleaned and that the cleaned tanks, <br /> or tank Parts, are suitable for re-use as <br /> scrap metal . <br /> 2. The cleaned tanks, or tank parts, will be <br /> removed from the job-sites and re-used as <br /> scrap metal according to arrangements and <br /> negotiations completed by the Contractor. <br /> D. Oesignated Oisposal Site <br /> All waste and wastewater contaminated by hazardous <br /> substances, including diesel fuel , residual in the <br /> tanks shall be transported by the Contractor to <br /> the USPCI Grossy Mountain facility in Utah for <br /> treatment and disposal . <br /> E. Shipping Documents <br /> The Contractor shall Complete hazardous waste <br /> manifests and other shipping documentation needed <br /> to ship waste and wastewater and/or uncleaned <br /> tanks to USPCI in Utah. Completion of manifests <br /> shall be coordinated with Mike Hayes of LLL <br /> Hazardous Waste Management by calling (415) <br /> 422-1925. <br /> F. Licensing and Registration for Transportation of <br /> Hazardous Materia s <br /> In order to comply with the appropriate federal <br /> d state requirements applicable to the <br /> transportation of hazardous waste <br /> materials/substances, the Contractor must be <br /> licensed and registered to provide such service. <br /> Contractor hereby warrants that he has obtained <br /> all necessary state and federal licenses and <br /> registrations applicable to transporters and <br /> transportation of toxic and/or hazardous <br /> materials/substances.
