Box 2009 PA I -r'E <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Re: Submittal of Closure Report for the 874-DIUI Underground Diesel- <br /> Fuel System at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Site 300 <br /> Dear Mr. Wilson: <br /> Enclosed is our report of the closure of the 874-DlU1 Underground Diesel- <br /> Fuel System at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) Site 300. <br /> This report describes the closure activities associated with the removal and <br /> disposal of the Underground Storage Tank (UST) 874-DlU1 and its piping. <br /> The UST was formerly designated by LLNL as 874-11D. Closure activities <br /> were permitted in the "Application for Permit to Close Underground <br /> Storage Tank Storing Hazardous Materials" that was approved by the San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services—Environmental Health Division as <br /> Project #39-1945-15. The closure report provides the necessary <br /> documentation to verify that the tank was closed in accordance with Title 23 <br /> CCR 2672 (a), (b), and (d).
