CNI Manufacturinostallation, Operation and Maintenanc anual (IOM) <br />Applicable to Executive Order VRA 04-D <br />Pre -Assembly Notes for a 2 Point EVR System, Vapor Side using CON1-31103 <br />Prior to installation ensure that you have: <br />• a T-square or bevel square set to 900 to verify squareness of riser and containment <br />nipple; <br />• CNI Mfg. Containment Installation/Removal Tool EVRSYS116, or <br />Standard chain wrench with offset; <br />• 26 inch or 36 inch long torque wrenches capable of measuring from <br />10 to 350 foot-pounds as appropriate; <br />• a torque wrench capable of measuring 10 to 20 inch -pounds (used for Bellow Hold <br />Down Clamps, and set screws on Adapter) ; <br />• a 5/32nd inch Allen@ wrench head torque Adapter (used for set screws on 'S' series <br />Adapter); <br />• a flathead torque adapter or appropriately sized torque driver (used for set screws <br />on `non- S' series Adapter; <br />• standard '/2 inch socket; <br />• standard 7/16ths inch socket; <br />• CNI Mfg. Rotatable Adapter Tool Part Number EVRSYS106; <br />• Loc-Tite@ threadlock model #222MS, <br />• Teflon@, Fire Marshall approved thread sealing compound; <br />• Roller style, 2 -blade pipe cutter, <br />• Cutting tool (die) for tapered N.P.T. threads on 4 inch pipes (8 threads per inch). <br />• Use ONLY the correct tools and torque wrenches for a correct installation. <br />• Use appropriate safety measures, to avoid fire and personal injury. <br />• Inspect the components for damage. <br />Note: Do not disassemble the containment assembly unless replacing a component <br />of assembly.
