Board&Software Replacement Before Turning Off Power-All Procedures <br /> Remove the grounding wrist strap from <br /> its package and wrap one end around <br /> your wrist. Ahere the other end to the <br /> side of the comm board cage. <br /> Pivot edge of tool <br /> against inner partition <br /> oonsoIes\cpubdouteps CPU Board of console. <br /> 4 Place curved end of the removal <br /> tool under front end of CPU board at <br /> each retention pin location(3 places) <br /> and rotate tool to pry the board <br /> off of the retention pin. Replace <br /> " removal tool in its storage position. <br /> CPU Board Installation guide y <br /> slots(one at top and bottom) <br /> Retrieve Board Removal <br /> tool from its storage <br /> position on the top of the Pull the board straight out until you disconnect <br /> comm cage by pulling on it from the motherboard connector and it <br /> black knob in center of clears the top and bottom guides. Rotate it <br /> tool. towards you to clear the door. Hold the CPU <br /> k board by its edges and avoid touching <br /> components and connector pins. <br /> Disconnect each of the two cables <br /> attached to the CPU board,and the +�I= <br /> printer cable from the Local Printer <br /> Com Board, ¢ <br /> Remove ac power to the <br /> console.
