Veeder-Root Sensor AppliAn Guide <br />0 <br />Interstitial Sensors for Steel Tanks <br />The Interstitial Sensor for steel tanks detects the presence of liquid between the double'walls of the tank. <br />Sensor Detection Capabilities - Alarm Conditions <br />• The presence of any liquid at a nominal height of 1 inch in the tank's interstitial space triggers a Fuel Alarm. <br />• An open sensor triggers a Sensor Out alarm. /406, <br />Operating Capabilities <br />• Operating temperature range: 0 to +70°C (for water), -20 to 70°C (for hydrocarbons).'
