If a leak is detected or suspected through alarm, tightness test, or thru other means, <br /> then perform the following immediately. <br /> a. Determine which tank is involved. <br /> b. Determine what on the tank is in alarm. <br /> 2. Immediate investigate to determine if a release has occurred, including: <br /> a. Visually inspect the UST system. <br /> b. Stick tanks and record level. <br /> 3. If the investigation concludes no release, then rectify the abnormality immediately. <br /> Example: <br /> a. Removing water from sump. <br /> b. Removing diesel fuel from sump. <br /> c. Repairing or replacing faulty equipment. <br /> ** Once problem is corrected, verify normal reading <br /> 4. If the investigation concludes that a release has occurred, then perform the <br /> following immediately(Concurrently) as possible. <br /> a.
