When in doubt as to the severity of the situation, call 911. <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> Location: Kaiser Permanente Manteca Medical Center — 1777 West Yosemite <br /> Avenue, Manteca,California <br /> Hazards: Soil and groundwater containing petroleum hydrocarbons. <br /> Area Affected: Soil and groundwater at the Project Site. <br /> Surrounding Land Use: Residential/commercial <br /> Topography: Relatively level <br /> Weather Conditions: Mild with late afternoon winds. <br /> PROJECT OBJECTIVE <br /> The objectives of the environmental assessment program are to: <br /> 1. Preparation of a Technical Work Plan (TWP) / Site-Specific Health and Safety <br /> Plan (HSP) prior to implementation of the soil and groundwater assessment <br /> program; <br /> 2. Completion of a pre-assessment site visit to position and demarcate the <br /> proposed drill hole locations prior to notifying Underground Service Alert (USA) <br /> for clearance of potential underground utilities; <br /> 3. Advance two drill holes through the base of the UST (one at each end of the <br /> tank) to depths of approximately 15 feet (2 feet into native soil material) to <br /> facilitate the collection of soil samples for chemical analyses.
