Methods not testing the <br />entire UDC should only be used if the monitoring system provides fail-safe turbine shutdown. (See SWRCB LG -160) <br />2 With the submersible pump running, place the sensor in product (discriminating sensors should also be placed in water). The time <br />between placing the sensor in product and the turbine shutting down is the response time. This should be done if the secondary <br />containment testing method used does not test the entire volume of the UDC <br />This information is not needed if the entire UDC is tested. <br />
