The following <br />items must be submitted and deficiencies/discrepancies must be corrected prior to <br />approval: <br />The overfill prevention system must satisfy California Code of Regulations <br />(CCR) 2635 (b)(2). This location currently does not have fill sumps, therefore, <br />you must <br />a. Restrict delivery of flow to the tank at least 30 minutes before the tank <br />overfills, provided the restriction occurs when the tank is filled to no more <br />than 95 percent of capacity: AND activate an audible visual alarm at least <br />five minutes before the tank overfills; or <br />b. Provide positive shut-off of flow to the tank when the tank is filled to no <br />more than 95 percent of capacity. (ie: mechanical drop tube) <br />2. Submit manufacturers specifications for equipment to be used to fulfill the overfill <br />prevention requirement. <br />You may remit all requested information to my attention.
