Viton disc and 0 - rings, graphite gasket, Stainless steel shaft, and aluminum handle. Unibody incorporates U -bolt and Post mount bracket connections with male, female, and union style pipe threads (NPT) at the outlet (top connection). Also available with regular and containment style inlet. (Containment style is made for direct hook-up to secondary containment piping.) A shear section is located in the upper half of the valve and should be installed level with the base of the dispenser. In an emergency, the handle releases and the spring-loaded poppet assembly will swing shut. IMPORTANT WARNING: This valve requires periodic inspection to make sure the shut-off mechanism is operating correctly. Always shut-off the power to the dispenser when changing filters or doing maintenance. This valve is not intended to be used as a "block valve" and should not be opened under pressure. Opening under pressure can damage or distort internal components. 323 & 324 SERIES VAPOR RECOVERY Used for stage lVapor Recovery.
