StatedCalifomia USTRequirements <br />TATE/LOCAL <br />HOW to MANUAL GAUGING OF USED OIL STORAGE TANKS (if applicable) <br />Comply If your used oil storage tank is not electronically monitored and if your tank has a <br />total capacity of 2,000 gallons or less, then California regulations allow manual <br />tank gauging. For procedures, see Section 2: Underground Storage Tanks, page <br />2:09. <br />Exception <br />You are required to have a twelve (12) hour waiting (or setting) period prior to the <br />beginning of the thirty-six (36) hour test period.
