GETTLER-RYAN INC.
April 15, 1998
San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Attn: Doug Wilson
304 E. Weber, 3rd Floor
Stockton, CA 95202
Re: Underground Storage Tank Compliance Upgrade
G -R #9317.01
Chevron Service Station #201761
1103 S. Main Street
Manteca, California
Dear Mr. Wilson:
Gettler-Ryan Inc. recently performed a field survey of the existing underground storage tank
facilities at the above referenced location at Chevron U.S.A. Products Company's request.
Gettler-Ryan also installed OPW 61 -SO Overfill Prevention Valves in the drop tubes of the
underground storage tanks. The Overfill Prevention Valves are installed to provide positive
shut-off of flow to the tank when the tank reaches 95% of capacity. This brings this facility into
full compliance with the requirements of the CCR Title 23, Division 3, Chapter 16 Underground
Storage Tank Regulations.
Enclosed are updated State A and B Forms for this facility.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at (415) 893-1515.
Youwtruly,
Donald J.
