a. Small spills (less than one gallon and only requiring fifteen minutes to clean up) shall <br />be cleaned up using absorbent materials and shall be coordinated by the dealer. <br />b. Larger spills occurring during product delivery shall be reported to the terminal by <br />the dealer and/or by delivery truck driver. The terminal supervisor will notify a <br />maintenance air assisted vacuum pump and transport container. Large spills not <br />caused by delivery shall be reported immediately to CHEVRON Representative. <br />C. Spill shall be cleaned up within eight hours of detection, returned to the local <br />terminal by a licensed hazardous waste hauler/and or disposed of in a lawful <br />manner. <br />d. Dealer shall record all spills whether or not it is due to delivery overfill or accidental <br />spillage, which exceeds approximately one gallon and action taken on the <br />"unauthorized Release Report" (attached), and send it to CHEVRON within twenty- <br />four hours. <br />e. Large spills (more that one gallon) must be reported to the local agency indicated <br />on the cover sheet by the dealer within twenty-four hours. If the spill is large <br />enough to pose a significant hazard, it must also be reported to the California Office <br />of Emergency Services at (800) 852-7550. <br />IN CASE OF EMERGENCY CALL -1-1 <br />111:0- • r <br />Yearly testing shall be made of the following: <br />Pressurized piping systems shall be monitored using in-line leak detectors. Leakdetectors <br />shall be tested annually for proper operation. Dealer MUST be aware that a reduction in <br />product flow to three gallons per minute (gpm) indicates a potential piping leak. <br />2. Electronic monitoring systems shall be tested annually for proper operation. (For <br />secondarily contained tanks and piping only.) <br />3. Dispenser core holes and shear valves shall be annually inspected by CHEVRON for signs <br />of leakage. <br />4. Dispenser meters (recording total sales in gallons) shall be calibrated once annually by <br />CHEVRON. Any additional calibration will be the responsibility of the dealer. <br />3 <br />
