SITE SPECIFIw_ EMERGENCY RESPONSE & T�_AINING PLAN <br /> I. Employees must be given this training before starting work, and training courses <br /> must be provided annually. Records must be kept to show when each station employee <br /> has been given his/her training. Retain these records for a minimum of three years. <br /> CRITICAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE EQUIPMENT <br /> A. EMERGENCY PUMP SHUT-OFF: This turns off the turbine pumps that provide flow to the <br /> dispenser from the underground tanks. <br /> LOCATION: 1-CASHIER AREA, 1-OUTSIDE BUILDING, 1- DISPENSER ISLAND <br /> B. ELECTRICAL PANEL: The panel allows you to selectively cut off power to lights, signs, <br /> pumps, etc. The main switch shuts off all power at the site. <br /> LOCATION: BACKROOM OF STORE <br /> C. WATER SHUT-OFF: Shutting off the water main in the case of a water leak. <br /> LOCATION: LANDSCAPE AREA ON MAIN <br /> D. NATURAL GAS SHUT-OFF: If your station has natural gas, it may be necessary to shut- <br /> off the natural gas main. <br /> LOCATION: NONE <br /> E. FIRST AID KIT: <br /> LOCATION: SAFETY ZONE IN BACKROOM OF STORE <br /> F. FIRE EXTINGUISHER: Use only on small fires that you can handle. Do not attempt to <br /> extinguish large fires on your own. <br /> LOCATION: 1-AT CASHIER AREA 1- BACKROOM OF STORE <br /> G. SPILL RESPONSE KIT: Sorbent Pads, Material, and Sock Booms for small spills of <br /> gasoline, diesel fuel, or other petroleum products. Pads and Sock Booms will be used to contain <br /> a large spill as a defensive measure to contain on-site and from reaching storm drains. <br /> LOCATION: SAFETY ZONE IN BACKROOM OF STORE <br /> H. EMERGENCY EVACUATION AND ASSEMBLY AREA: <br /> LOCATION: EAST SIDE OF BUILDING ON MAIN <br /> I.
