Wilson, R.E.H.S. <br />Margaret Lagorio, R.E.H.S. <br />Robert McClellon, R.E.H.S. <br />Mark Barcellos, R.E.H.S. <br />In addition to the violations sited by San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department on January 21, 2005 the following violation is being added: <br />Health & Safety Code (HSC) Section 25291(a)(2) <br />Secondary containment shall be constructed to prevent structural weakening as a <br />result of contact with any released hazardous substances, and also shall be capable <br />of storing the hazardous substances for the maximum anticipated period of time <br />necessary for the recovery of any released hazardous substance. <br />4 San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has <br />evaluated the south diesel tank gravity return line and concluded that <br />secondary containment for this portion of piping is required. <br />Currently, the secondary containment portion of the return line has <br />failures. The pipeline is consuming ground water and transmitting it <br />into the piping sump. <br />4 Immediately repair or replace the secondary containment of this <br />piping under a permit from this office.
