The following procedure should be
11752 followed whenever you use a gauge stick to determine the am
amount of product that is in yourtank:
1) Use a wood dipstick with a rubberor nylon tip. Metallic dipsticks are not (ecommended. This
11_757 will insure that frequent tank gaugings or an accidental dropping of the gauge stick into the tank
11.762 will not damage the tank bottom.
11767 2) Slowly lower your gauge stick into the fill port until it touches the tank bottom. Bever free drop
the gauge stick. This can result In inaccurate measurements We to product splashing. Free
1dropping can also result in gauge stick damage and tank damage.
t P3) Remove your dipstick slowly and read the product level directly from the gauge stick,
-11781 Water Paste Detection
11786 To detect water in the tank bottom, water detection paste is available from petroleum equipment
11790 distributors. However, some water detection paste cannot detect antifreeze mixtures. If
. 11794 antifreeze mixtures are used for the Cavity monitoring fluid. the following product is capable of
detecting water or antifreeze (brine or up to 50 percent glycol) solution in the tank water bottoms:
11759 WATER FINDER #7686-1870
11803 DAYCOINATIONAL
11807 DAYTON.OH
TEL: 1-80D-283-2928
11811 FAX: 1-800-688-4854
11815
7 i01g IL-illlsiYt i
11822 Pressurized deliveries are not recommended. it the delivery vehicle uses pumps to fill the tank,
install overfill sh" equipment in the tank and truck to prevent the tank from being overfilled_
11826 Ovelling the tank under pressure n i1t carnage the tank teen If the tank vent is
11829 unrestricted.
11833
11836 _ Containment Solutions, Inc.
- - 5150 Jefferson Chemical Road
11839 Conroe, TX 77301
11842 Tel. 409-756-7731
11645 Fax: 409-766-7766
11851 11854 Note: Calibration chart is based on the fluid level above a 6116" deflector plate.
11632 118 318 11655
116W
118 112
11859
11644
118 518
11_861 _
11651
118 314
11863
11657
118 718
11865
11663
119
11867
11669 119 118
11675_ 119 114
11681 1119-318.
11687 119 112
11693 119 518
11699
11704 --'-
11710
11870
11871
11872
Pub.
