The following is a Minor Notice to Comply <br />violation: 305 <br />305. The 87 -octane STP sump sensor failed to activate an audible and visual alarm and stop the flow of <br />product when tested to ensure continuous monitoring of the tank system. All monitoring equipment shall <br />be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it <br />detects a leak. The sensor was replaced and retested during the inspection. Obtain a permit from the <br />EHD for this work within one business day. If a permit is not obtained within one business day, a <br />"Failure to Obtain a Permit" penalty will apply. <br />NOTES <br />Because the sumps at this facility are deeper than 4 feet, technician entering sumps on site must be <br />equipped in such a way that if the technician becomes incapacitated, the body can be hoisted out of the <br />sump by the technician's helper in an emergency. Failure to provide such or similar safety measures in <br />the future may result in inspector leaving the site and not completing inspection of the monitoring <br />certification. <br />See separate inspection report for the replaced 87 -octane STP sensor. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />_T FACILITY IS SUB.i` CT TO REINSPECTIOM AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />
