Tracy Blvd., Tracy <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a permit to replace the 87 spill bucket and repair the Diesel East leak detector <br /> and motor switch relay on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted <br /> address. The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at(209) 468-3440 to arrange the following inspection <br /> appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be <br /> aware that inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit <br /> approval. <br /> a. System functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to <br /> ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 <br /> California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. <br /> b. Leak detector test: Leak detector must be tested to confirm that the device can <br /> detect a leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi. <br /> c. Corrosion protection: Verify corrosion protection for direct bury spill bucket prior to <br /> backfilling. <br /> d. Spill bucket test: Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity and pass a one hour hydrostatic <br /> test(or equivalent). Proper drainage must also be verified. <br /> e. Secondary containment testing on the 87 UST. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in the 87 tank prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval. <br />
