Introduction <br /> This manual describes the site preparation and console installation procedures for TLS- <br /> 350 and TLS-350R Environmental and Inventory Management Systems which include <br /> a console installed in a non-hazardous location on the site and various probes and <br /> sensors located throughout hazardous areas of the site. <br /> This manual assumes that you installing the TLS system in a new site(before <br /> pavement is put down and with no wiring runs in place).Among the topics covered are: <br /> ❑ Site layout considerations. <br /> ❑ Installing the TLS Console and connecting wiring from the 120 or 240 Vac power <br /> panel. <br /> ❑ Probe and sensor installation procedures(which must be performed following <br /> instructions in the installation manuals accompanying those devices). <br /> ❑ Installing wiring conduit between the TLS Console and its probes and sensors. <br /> ❑ Probe-and sensor-to-console field junction box wiring diagrams(these connections <br /> must be performed following instructions in the installation manuals accompanying <br /> those devices). <br /> ❑ Attaching probe and sensor wiring to the TLS Console(these connections must be <br /> performed following instructions in the installation manuals accompanying those <br /> devices). <br /> After the TLS Console is wired to power,probes,and sensors,you should power up <br /> and program the console following the instructions contained in the TLS-350 and TLS- <br /> 350R System Setup Manual(Veeder-Root No.576013-623). <br /> Safety Symbols <br /> The following safety symbols may be used throughout this manual to alert you to <br /> important safety hazards and precautions. <br /> Explosive <br /> Fuels and their vapors are extremely explosive if ignited. <br /> ® Flammable <br /> Fuels and their vapors are extremely flammable. <br /> �; • Electricity <br /> High voltage exists in,and is supplied to,the device.A potential shock hazard exists. <br /> 1 <br />
