Positive alarm •, of any liquid in
double-wall fiberglass tanks.
0, System indicators pinpoint alarm locatio
10, Simple to install.
0, Two -wire connection to system monitor.
Fast action helps prevent serious safety
and environmental problems. I
The Veeder-Root Interstitial Sensor for use in Fiber-
glass Tanks detects the presence of liquid in the in-
terstitial space of a double-wall fiberglass tank. Liq-
uid in the annulus could mean a dangerous leak.
When liquid is detected, the sensor sends an alarm
signal to a TLS -350R, TLS -350, ILS -350, TLS -3001,
TLS -300C, TLS -2501 or ILS -250 monitor. The
monitors visual and audible built-in alarm indicators
immediately tell you where the problem is, so you
can quickly take action to help prevent serious safety
and environmental problems.
The TLS -350R, TLS -350, ILS -350, TLS -3001, TLS -
300C and ILS -250 systems feature internal alarm
relays that can also tagger on-site alarms for even
greater warning capability. When connected to a
TLS -350R, TLS -350 or TLS -300i system, the sen-
sor alarm triggers a report showing the time and the
location of the alarm condition. This information is
stored in the TLS -350R, TLS -350, or TLS-250i's
alarm history and can be retrieved through the
monitors integral printer or remotely through its
data communications interface.
The Veeder-Root Interstitial Sensor for fiberglass
tanks can be used in the annulus of fiberglass tank
with a sensor riser pipe of 4". Only two wires are re-
quired to connect the sensor to a TLS or ILS system.
Detection Capabilities
► The presence of any liquid in the tank's interstitial
space triggers a Fuel Alarm.
Operating Capabilities
00, Operating Temperature Range: 20'C to +70°C
(Hydrocarbons), 0°C to 701C (non-freezing Water).
► Storage Temperature Range: -400C to +75°C.
► Dimensions: 2.13" long, 1.27" wide, 0.58" high.
Standard Components
®TY DESCRIPTION
1 Interstitial Fiberglass Tank Sensor
2 Watertight Cord Grips
