The project will involve replacing hoses and nozzles and installing vapor
vacuum pumps for two existing dispensers. And also installing a clean air separator tank which will connect to the
existing gasoline tank vent riser. Since the facility has an annual throughput less than 600,000 gallons of
gasoline, In-Station Diagnostics (ISD)will not be necessary in accordance with the GARB Executive Order VR-
201-C(attached). Therefore we would like to confirm with you whether a permit from your agency will be
necessary for this work.
In addition, at the same facility, we will be adding interstitial monitoring of our three existing double wall
aboveground oil tanks to the existing Veeder Root TLS-350 tank monitor. This TLS-350 tank monitor is currently
monitoring our existing underground tanks. No cold start will be necessary to add the sensors and programming.
So again we would like to confirm with you whether a permit from your agency will be necessary for this work.
Thank you
Steven Schamaun
Project Engineer
Civil Engineer#54580
Teichert Mobile Equipment
916-386-3767
From: Raymond von Flue [EH] [mailto:rvonflue@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Friday, November 09, 2007 4:11 PM
To: Steve Schamaun
11/13/2007
