Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air District for any applicable permits. <br />2. Any changes shall be submitted to EHD for approval prior to commencing work. All new addendums <br />supercede the previous ones. <br />3. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as required by the <br />organization. (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc. See California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 23 <br />Chapter 16 Table B for complete list) <br />4. At least one person who holds the International Code Council "UST Installer/Retrofitter" certification <br />must be onsite AT ALL TIMES when work is performed. Additionally, this person must be a licensed <br />contractor or directly employed by one. <br />5. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of training from the manufacturer <br />of that component. <br />6. Contact EHD for the following inspections (Allow a 48 hour notice for all inspections): <br />a. Verification of five -gallon capacity of the diesel spill bucket. <br />b. Drain valve operation <br />c. Sixty minute or equivalent test on spill bucket <br />d. Drop tube with mechanical flapper must be verified for 95% shutoff for overfill prevention. <br />7. If concrete is broken near the underground storage tanks, the UST's must have an integrity test performed <br />once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. Results must be received by <br />EHD within 7 days of returning the site to operating condition. <br />8. A "Certificate of Compliance for Underground Storage Tank Installation Form C" shall be submitted by the <br />owner or the owners' agent [pursuant to (CCR) 2635(d)] before this upgrade will be considered complete <br />by EHD. <br />9.
