Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for any <br /> applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Elena Manzo at(209) 953-7699 to arrange the following appointments (a 48-hour notice is <br /> required for inspection appointments). <br /> • 24-hour hydrostatic test(or equivalent)on the UDC 3/4, UDC 7/8, and UDC 11/12 sump upon <br /> penetration installation <br /> • Visual inspection of the piping within the UDCs <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD inspection <br /> and approval. <br /> 4. Secondary containment testing for the impacted UDCs(the UDC 314, UDC 7/8,and UDC 11/12) <br /> is required six months after installation. Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this <br /> test is scheduled. <br /> 5. If concrete will be broken near the tank, a secondary containment test must be performed on the <br /> affected diesel UST once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. <br /> 6. Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following qualifications: <br /> a. Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid, current <br /> contractor's licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the <br /> installation company), or a Tank Tester's license issued to the individual by the State Water <br /> Board,and <br /> b. Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at <br /> the work site who possesses a valid,current California UST Service Technician certificate issued <br /> by the International Code Council(ICC),and <br /> c. Possesses a valid,current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s)of the component(s) <br /> being tested,repaired,or serviced, <br />
