UNDERGROUND TANK MONITORING PLAN <br />AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br />Date: July 26, 2000 <br />Facility: Gas Station <br />3304 West Hammer Lane <br />Stockton, California <br />Tanks: One (1)10,000 gallon regular unleaded gasoline storage t ti <br />One (1)10,000 gallon premium unleaded gasoline storage tank <br />One (1) 6,000 gallon diesel storage tank <br />The underground storage tanks at this site are Joor manufactured jacketed steel tank. Underground <br />product delivery pipe consists of double-wall fiberglass pipe. The underground piping slopes to the <br />piping manhole sumps on the tanks. The secondary containment pipes are open to the piping manhole <br />sumps so a piping leak would run into the sump. The dispensers are provided with containment pans. <br />The pans are equipped with a float which will trip the shear valve if product or water is in the pan. The <br />submersible pumps are equipped with mechanical type line leak detectors. <br />The tanks are monitored- continuously by an electronic monitoring system with liquid sensors located in <br />the double-wall tank interstitial spaces and the tank manhole sumps. The tank monitor system is <br />equipped with automatic pump shutdown in the event a leak is- detected in the tank sumps or the <br />monitor system fails. The tank monitor is located inside the building and has audible and visual alarms. <br />If a leak or spill should occur, the alarm will- sound. Person responsible for monitoring and reporting <br />an emergency, or an unauthorized release is. <br />The tank monitoring system is tested- and maintained by a certified third party company on an annual <br />basis. <br />In the event of a leak or spill; Service Station- Properties, LLC will- notify the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department at (209) 468-3420. <br />Service Station; LLC will notify the following company for the fastest cleanup of the spill or leak <br />possible: <br />1.
