Site Characterization Work Plan Second Addendum
2 November 2018
Page 2
We are also proposing to install one additional borehole/monitoring well between the Site and
LWD-9, at monitoring well cluster PW2. Currently, the deepest monitoring well at the PW2 well
cluster is screened to 152 feet bgs.The Corcoran Clay was encountered at depths between 255 and
260 feet bgs at Locations 2, and 7. This borehole will be drilled to the depth of the Corcoran Clay
at the PW2 well cluster and a new monitoring well will be installed in the deepest sand interval
overlying the Corcoran Clay.
The drilling, sampling and well construction work at PW2, PW35 and PW36 will be conducted in
accordance with the Work Plan and the well construction details modifications described in the
first Addendum to the Work Plan. Fieldwork at these locations will not commence without
CVRWQCB approval of this Second Addendum, clearance of underground utilities, procurement
of access agreements with the property owners, and procurement of well installation permits from
the County. Please provide us with your approval of the three additional proposed boring/well
locations. If you have any questions, please contact Nicole Gotberg at:NGotberg@Geosyntec.com
or(916) 637-8347.
