4
Site Characterization Work Plan Sixth Addendum
4 June 2019
Page 2
from 264 to 274 feet below ground surface(bgs), immediately above the Corcoran Clay. Sulfolane
was detected in grab-groundwater samples collected at Location 1 1 from 65 feet bgs and 75 feet
bgs at concentrations of 32 ug/L and 78 ug/L, respectively. Therefore, an additional monitoring
well is proposed to be installed at Location 11 screened from 65 to 75 feet bgs (Figure 1).
Due to the shallow depth of the proposed additional monitoring well, the borehole will be drilled
using the hollow stem auger drilling method. The well construction will be conducted in
accordance with the Work Plan and the well construction details modifications described in the
first Addendum to the Work Plan. Fieldwork for the additional monitoring well installation at this
location will not commence without CVRWQCB approval of this Sixth Addendum, City of
Lathrop encroachment permit approval to install a second well, and procurement of a well
installation permit from the County. Please provide us with your approval of the one additional
proposed monitoring well at Location 11. If you have any questions, please contact Nicole Gotberg
at: NGotberggGeosyntec.com or(916) 637-8347.
