Laboratory services were provided by. Agriculture and <br /> Priority Pollutant Laboratories, Inc(APPL) of Fresno, California. APPL is certified by the <br /> State of California to perform hazardous waste analyses. The analytical data sheets are <br /> included in Attachment B. <br /> RESULTS <br /> Based.on the results of photoionization detector readings and field observations (no odor or : <br /> staining), soil samples collected from the boring did not indicate the presence of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons. Laboratory analytical results of the soil and groundwater samples <br /> (Attachment B) confirmed the. field screening results (shown on the boring logs in <br /> Attachment A); MtBE, BTEX, and oxygenates were not detected in the five soil samples or <br /> the groundwater sample analyzed from the site. <br /> Based on these results, Dole requests closure of the UST site and that the PHS/EHD issue a <br /> "No Further Action" letter. <br /> Geomatrix is pleased to submit this report on behalf of Dole.
