No Further Action Request (NFAR) <br /> TERMINOUS MARKET <br /> 13889 West Highway 12,Lodi,California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Charlie Jacobs of Terminous Market, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. <br /> (AGE) has prepared this No Further Action Request (NFAR) summarizing all field activities <br /> conducted at 13889 West Highway 12, Lodi, California(site). Based on the results of subsurface <br /> investigations of the underground storage tank (UST) area at the site, it is AGE's opinion that no <br /> further investigative or corrective action be required for this facility.The site setting is illustrated on <br /> Figure 1;the former underground storage tank area,site buildings,soil boring locations,and existing <br /> monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2. <br /> This NFAR has been prepared in accordance with the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board(RWQCB)-Central Valley Region guidelines(Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations <br /> For Preliminary Investigations and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites)for No Further Action <br /> Requests(Appendix A). <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> The Terminous Market is located at the northeast corner of Highway 12 and Glasscock Road(Figure <br /> 1); the site is further located in the northwest section of Township 3 North,Range 5 East,Mount <br /> Diablo Base and Meridian(Terminous Quadrangle,7.5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1978, <br /> photo revised 1993),in a topographically flat area at an elevation between 10 and 15 feet below the <br /> North American Vertical Datum(NAVD).The San Joaquin County Tax Assessor's Office lists the <br /> site's boundaries as Parcel 5 on Map 30 in Book 25 (APN 025-030-05). <br /> The Terminous Market property is currently owned by Mr. Charlie and April Jacobs. Based on <br /> information obtained from the San Joaquin County Assessor's office,Mr.Charlie and April Jacobs <br /> are the only listed title fee owners.Mr.Jacobs has stated to AGE that he purchased the property circa <br /> 1984. Mr.Jacobs had no knowledge of property usage prior to 1984. <br /> The property at 13889 West Highway 12, Lodi, California is currently utilized as a mini-market <br /> (Terminous Market). The site is occupied by a one-story market with a septic tank, a residential <br /> dwelling with a septic tank, a tool shed and outhouse, a propane tank, and a domestic well which <br /> according to property owner Charles Jacobs is not used for drinking water(Figure 2). The site is <br /> bordered on the west by the Mokelumne River, and on the north, south, and east by agricultural <br /> Property- <br /> The facility, established in 1939, formerly operated two fuel USTs and two fuel dispensers.
