INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Charlie Jacobs,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE)has prepared the <br /> enclosed Additional SiteAssessment WorkPlan for the property located at 13889 West Highway 12, <br /> Lodi, California(site). As directed by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)by letter dated 06 November 2007 (Appendix B), the proposed scope of work includes the <br /> advancement of five soil probe liorings for lateral delineation of the petroleum-hydrocarbon ground <br /> water plume to the northwest and the southeast of the former underground storage tank(UST)area. <br /> �_ be� <br /> The proposed scope ofwork also includes the advancement of five soil-vaporproborin_____ <br /> gs to assess <br /> the potential for vapor intrusion of petroleum-hydrocarbon impacted soil insidFexisting buildings <br /> on site. <br /> This work plan is prepared in accordance with the Central Valley Regional.Water Quality Control <br /> Board(CVRQCB)guidelines for the subsurface investigation of UST sites.The location of the site <br /> and the surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1;site structures and monitoring well locations are <br /> illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information,including details of previous site investigations <br /> and site conditions is included in Appendix A. <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> AGE proposes to collect soil and ground water samples to determine the lateral extent of the <br /> petroleum-hydrocarbon ground water plume. In addition, AGE proposes.to collect soil-vapor <br /> samples to assess the threat of vapor intrusion to the existing buildings on site. <br /> The site assessment will include the following task's: <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities;, <br /> Soil and grab groundwater sample collection and analysis; <br /> Soil-vapor sample collection and analysis; <br /> • Report preparation <br /> 2.1. PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK TASKS <br /> An applicable site assessment soil boring permit will be obtained from the EHD.
